So, this happened. Fred Karger, who is still running for President as a gay Republican, went campaigning in Utah, and though his welcome was described as “rough,” his meeting with the Republican party chairman in Washington County, Willie Billings, was described as “friendly”:
During his visit to Utah, Karger met with Washington County Republican Party Chairman Willie Billings, who Karger said was “welcoming” and “friendly.” After their meeting, which was first reported by the Los Angeles Times, Karger gave Billings some campaign paraphernalia, including a Frisbee and a T-Shirt.
Souvenirs! See, that’s nice. But guess who didn’t like it? Willie’s wife is who. Nanette. And oh no, no, Nanette* is not having any of this malarkey about “gay Republicans” with their frisbees and and t-shirts. “My feeling is the only reason he’s running for president is to find more [sexual] partners,” Nanette Billings told Yahoo News in a phone interview. “To get more people on his bandwagon.”
Bandwagon? Is that what the unhinged Utahns kids are calling it these days?
