I haven’t been paying too much attention to the various arguments surrounding Mitt and Ann Romney’s utter lack of awareness when it comes to the struggles of actual human beings in this country, because it’s not very closely related to what we do here. That being said, it’s officially election season and Mittens is the presumptive nominee for the role of “guy who loses to Barack Obama in November,” and this quote from Ann Romney is just breathtaking in its cluelessness:
Romney alluded to the fact that not all women can stay at home saying, “I love the fact that there are women out there who don’t have a choice and they must go to work and they still have to raise the kids. Thank goodness that we value those people too. And sometimes life isn’t easy for any of us.”
Wow. Just wow.
