The Huffington Post reports that the fight against ex-gay therapy has
come to New York.
The state’s legislation will be introduced on Friday and is modeled after a new California law that bans licensed therapists from using the practice on minors. The bill will be sponsored by two New York state lawmakers from New York City, Sen. Michael Gianaris and Sen. Deborah Glick, both progressive Democrats.
