Gay former Eagle Scout James Dale, who was kicked out of the BSA at age nineteen, upon coming out, and who took his case all the way to the Supreme Court, notes that, though he lost his case, we are winning in the court of public opinion. He’s asking people to share their stories, and also to change their Facebook profile pictures in anticipation of tomorrow’s vote on whether to allow openly gay kids in scouting:

You can change that profile picture right here.

To see in stark contrast just how much we’re on the right side of history here, consider our hate group opposition:

It’s amazing how our opposition manages to look simultaneously pathetic and evil at the same time, but they do.

Those screen-caps come from my other internet home (on the rare occasion I have time to write a piece for them, SORRY REBECCA!) Wonkette, who are issuing a challenge for a gay Wonkette reader to arm wrestle Bryan Fischer. Any Truth Wins Out readers who would like to participate in that challenge, well, go leave a comment at Wonkette! Or Bryan could always arm-wrestle one of my close gay friends who happen to be long-time Eagle Scouts, as it would be a shorter drive for him.
