Nobody in Tennessee knows what this means, but the Tennessee House has passed a resolution in honor of the “National Day Of The Cowboy,” which starts thus:
WHEREAS, pioneering men and women known as cowboys, helped establish America’s
frontiers; andWHEREAS, the cowboy archetype transcends gender, generations, ethnicity,
geographic boundaries, and political affiliations; and
And a whole bunch of other things, therefore we get to have Cowboy Day (yay?!), in July, and we guess this means girls are allowed.
Also, insert Brokeback Mountain joke here, or there, or wherever.
As soon as the very, very Republican Tennessee House realizes that this wording is very, very funny, we are quite sure they will amend the bill to say, simply, “no homo.”
