Brian Nesbitt grew up in a conservative Christian home in Clovis, NM. He tried to change his sexual orientation through “ex-gay” conversion therapy. It didn’t work and had harmful effects. Part of his “therapy” was snapping a rubber band on his wrist every time he thought of men. His quack therapist also made him sniff ammonia when he thought of men as part of aversion therapy. Today, Brian rejects these useless and destructive “ex-gay” groups. He says they are a waste of time and money. Brian urges love and acceptance of LGBT, just the way they are.
