The South has changed quite a bit on the marriage issue in the past few years. In a forthcoming piece, I’ll be looking at how that change has happened, as the South reaches its tipping point on the issue. The rest of the nation reached that place a couple years ago, and many believed it would take the South decades to catch up, but now polls have Southerners fairly evenly split, and enthusiasm for our side is growing as our opponents’ enthusiasm is drying up. In this clip, Lance Bass and his fiance talk about bringing marriage equality to Mississippi, where they have made their home.
