In this radio interview, former U.S. Congressman Barney Frank makes two really important points. First he notes that anti-gay Americans are very unhappy these days because they have lost their anti-gay culture war at home. Second, and very importantly, he notes the strange fact that lawmakers in Uganda have somehow bought into the lie, propagated by people like Scott Lively, that white gay activists are somehow exporting the “gay agenda” to places like Uganda, when the reality is that it’s white anti-gay Christians like Scott Lively who are banking their careers on exporting anti-gay hatred to Uganda and other nations in the developing world.
