Jeremy Hooper, who is a new dad, posted this video saying that it’s one of the “most welcome, relatable gay-inclusive ads” he’s ever seen. I agree that it’s pretty awesome, and so very realistic based on the gay couples I know who have kids:

Expect the One Million Moms to go hatebonkers over this in a timely manner, but no matter how much they or other wingnuts screech, the reason Honey Maid and other companies are doing this is that normal people see ads like this and find them sweet and beautiful. There’s no reason to pander to the shrinking group of people who aren’t capable of seeing the love in families like these.
