Chad Griffin is at the World Economic Forum in Davos, and he sat down to talk to Ahmad Shihab-Eldin on HuffPost Live, about the situation in Nigeria, and specifically the contrasts between the progression of LGBT rights in the United States and the brutal regression of LGBT rights in the developing world. To those out there who think the fight is almost over, that’s only true if you don’t care about much beyond American borders. We will indeed enjoy marriage equality and other advances in the next few years in the United States, while things are getting worse for our brothers and sisters in many places abroad. In many ways, the fight is just beginning.

Griffin specifically calls out people like Brian Brown of the National Organization for Marriage, Americans who are exporting their hate abroad and aiding and abetting the violence and destruction that is being meted out on the LGBT populations in so many nations.
