The tide has turned so hard and fast that it’s hard to keep up sometimes. In another sign of what the future holds, a new poll has been released showing that a majority of Americans who live in non-marriage equality states nonetheless support full equality for gay and lesbian couples:
Of course, the number is several points higher when you include those living in marriage equality states. Anti-gay activists like Bryan Fischer and Porno Pete will continue to claim that “The American People” support their side, but that’s just for the sake of their ill-informed donors. Even in states where the Religious Right hasn’t officially lost the game, they’ve lost. Full equality will be achieved before we know it.
