Hey, you guys, did you know that, according to wingnut Linda Harvey, Barack Obama is super-racist against black people? Her reasoning seems to be that because Obama is pro-choice and pro-LGBT, he must hate black people. Of course, it makes no sense, but we shouldn’t question her. We know that white right-wing activists like Linda Harvey spend most of their time obsessing about how to make things better for black Americans, so we should probably listen to her, because she surely isn’t being horribly intellectually dishonest, no, not Linda Harvey, she’s a paragon of integrity:
I could not disagree more with Oprah Winfrey. Is Oprah unaware that she defends a black president who was re-elected to a second term? It’s not skin color that people object to with Obama, it’s his ungodly values that endanger Americans of all races and backgrounds. The slaughter of unborn African American babies, even those who could live outside the womb, the president is apparently okay with that. Young African American males disproportionately contract HIV, Obama’s policies have produced more youth homosexual behavior, not less. No, if the definition of racism is to support policies that harm people of color, then Barack Obama is the most racist president in US history and Oprah Winfrey is his cheerleader. We need God’s help to raise up new leaders for America, ones who will protect and defend America and Americans, let’s all pray for that.
Nice try, Harvey. We are utterly convinced that you care so very much about African-American babies.
I always feel compelled to remind religious right hate group leaders that they really need to step up their game when trying to convince people who don’t agree with them. It’s the old “your readers may not be all that bright, but mine are” rule of political debate.
