The Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would protect gays and lesbians, will become law despite efforts by some Republican lawmakers to quash it, says gay-rights activist Wayne Besen, founder of Truth Wins Out.
“People should be hired and fired based upon their talents,” Besen told “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV.
“They shouldn’t have their career made or broken based upon who they are, and that’s why ENDA’s critical,” he said Wednesday.
