Here is an end of the week story that we can only respond to by saying, “LOL!”
At the Values Voter Summit, Sandy Rios of the American Family Association claimed that “there are tons of ex-gays with fabulous stories,” but that the media is too mean to tell them. But trust Sandy — those “ex-gays” are fabulous.
She then asks if anybody at the conference knew an “ex-gay,” and here is what happened:
All together now: “LOL!”
Here is video, of Sandy explaining that the reason that nobody knows anything about “ex-gays” is that they are “maligned and threatened.” This is the same reason that, before the Civil Rights Act, no one knew that black people existed. Right, Sandy?
