The radical anti-gay website, American Clarion, is hopping mad about the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) allowing openly gay troops. The site is also exploiting the 
continued ban on gay adults to create a platform to push the discredited canard that gay men are pedophiles. (I predicted this would happen)
The website quotes an op-ed written by holocaust revisionist, Scott Lively, “Satan Wins Back the Scouts”:
There are no doubt many hidden and very cautious pederasts already lurking in the Boy Scout leadership who are now salivating over the prospect of having in their care self-declared ‘gay’ boys whom they can approach sexually with far less fear of exposure. ‘Gay’ boys who can also help to recruit their peers into intergenerational ‘gay’ relationships.
If there is anyone who should know about child molesters it is Scott Lively, who hired one at his coffee shop Holy Grounds, which suspiciously catered to a youthful clientele:
The manager, Michael J. Frediani, 38, of 453 State St., located above the coffee house, was arrested Thursday morning by Springfield police at his apartment for failing to register as a Level 2 sex offender in this city.
Frediani, who went by the alias of Michael Free, was imprisoned in New York from 1996 to 1999, for sexual abuse in the first degree involving an 11-year-old girl, according to New York state criminal records. Frediani had told Lively that he had a ‘rough past before he became a Christian,’ Lively said, adding that he did not know any specifics and that he saw no need for a criminal background check.
“That’s the beauty of the salvation of Christ,” Lively said. “When you come to Jesus Christ, and you accept his forgiveness for your sins, then you are forgiven by Him and enter a new life. It doesn’t surprise me that he had a rough past, that he has a criminal record.”
The coffee house came under criticism from some city and school officials last week because of its location close to the High School of Commerce, and that it
was being visited by some truant students during school hours.
In New York, Frediani is listed as a Level 3 sex offender, defined as most likely to repeat an offense.
Lively is the author of “7 Steps to Recruit Proof Your Child.” He opened a coffee shop near a school that became notorious for serving troubled youth. The manager he hired was a convicted child predator.
I’m not saying that Lively has a peculiar interest in children. I’m not saying that his hiring of Frediani hints at the old adage, “birds of a feather flock together.” But, I will quote Alanis Morissette to say that for a self-proclaimed expert on stopping pedophilia, these strange circumstances are like rain on your wedding day — a bit ironic. May I humbly suggest that the first step to “recruit-proofing” your child might be steering them to Starbucks if they live in Springfield — and keeping them away from any business owned by Scott Lively.
Perhaps, The American Clarion and Lively are projecting their own issues and fears onto innocent gay men who don’t share their interests?
