Here is an update on the marriage equality court cases

Today, Equality Delaware released a statewide poll showing a majority – 54% – of voters in the state support the General Assembly passing a marriage equality bill. Just 37% oppose it.

Four months after ranking gay marriage as his No. 3 legislative priority in Springfield, Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Monday turned up the heat on state lawmakers in an effort to put the bill over the top in the Illinois House.

Poland’s first gay and transgender lawmakers will sit on the front bench in Parliament this week in reaction to hostile remarks by former president Lech Walesa.
