It’s a day for videos here at Truth Wins Out, and this one tells the compelling and heart-wrenching story about the discrimination one woman in Alaska faced as she grieved her partner’s tragic death. As you know, I firmly believe that the most important thing any of us can do for LGBT equality is to come out and tell our story, so I’m sharing this video with you today in order to share Kerry and Deborah’s story.

Besides, it’s always good to remember that there aren’t two equally valid, legitimate “sides” to equality issues. There’s just the right side, and the wrong one. It’s a matter of justice.
