Here is Lou Engle, one of my very favorite Christian Evangelists*, telling everybody how much he likes The Avengers. You see, it’s a movie about Christian spiritual warfare, in his estimation. Joe points out that Joss Whedon, who created the film, is an atheist who supports marriage equality, but details, details! At the end Lou states that people will really think he’s crazy for everything he just said. Never, Lou, never.
*I like him so much I reported undercover on one of his revivals. It was quite an experience.
