Earlier this week, shocking video surfaced of a sermon by “Pastor” Charles L. Worley of the Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, North Carolina, in which he advocated putting “lesbians and queers” in a concentration camp with an electrified fence. CNN’s Anderson Cooper recently interviewed a member of that church, Stacey Pritchard, about the controversy and you’ll be astonished by both her putrid bigotry and mind-numbing stupidity.
If you took this infamous example of word vomit, lowered the intelligence quotient even further with this equally iconic moment, crossed it with this for an infusion of homophobia, upped the fundie factor with this, whipped ’em all together, and melted this over the top for the finishing touch, you’d end up with something like this:
