BURLINGTON, Vt — Truth Wins Out thanked Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS today for a recent award of $15,000 to the organization. The funds will help TWO fulfill its mission of fighting anti-LGBT extremism, religion-based bigotry, and “ex-gay” propaganda.
“Truth Wins Out is honored to receive such incredible support from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS,” said Wayne Besen, TWO’s Executive Director. “This generous $15,000 contribution will go a long way towards hastening the demise of the ‘ex-gay’ myth in the United States and thwarting its exportation overseas. It will also enable us to continue fighting anti-gay bullies everywhere we find them, from America’s schoolyards and pulpits to the halls of Congress.”
