A group of bullied kids at Sequoyah High School in Madisonville, Tennessee want a Gay-Straight Alliance. They apparently asked administrators and were turned down. The kids started a petition. According to one mother, they were then threatened with suspension if they didn’t give it up.
Let’s sign the Change.org petition and let Sequoyah’s administrators know that if they block the legal formation of this group, it will be noticed. The ACLU can and does get involved in cases like this.
