As news of what went on at the Ruben Diaz/NOM rally yesterday leaks out, it just keeps getting worse and worse. Andy Towle just posted a video showing Rev. Ariel Torres Ortega of Radio Visión Cristiana, saying just moments before Diaz took to the microphone to stress his respect for gay people, that gays are “worthy of death”…
“Committing sexual acts between man and man. And receiving the retribution of the things that they have done from straying away. And because they did not take God in count. God gave them over to reprimand their mind to do things that are not right, being against all justice, fornication, perversity, aberrations, malignity…those who practice such things are worthy to death, not only do they do it, but those who also practice it. God bless this earth. That is the word of God.”
It was into this atmosphere that Brian Brown said…
“Kids as young as kindergarten are taught in Massachusetts that their parents are bigots because they believe marriage is the union of a man and a woman.”
And it is into this atmosphere that NOM is mailing out this…
And so it goes. One side of the mouth speaks respect, the other side death. One side speaks to the mainstream voter, the other to thugs. And the blood of gay people spills onto the streets and never touches their hands.

According to the Think Progress Wonk Room, where Andy got the video, a member of ‘The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Prosperity’ distributed hundreds of fliers to passers-by that read in part…
“If homosexual ‘marriage’ is universally accepted as the present step in sexual ‘freedom,’ what logical arguments can be used to stop the next steps of incest, pedophilia, bestiality, and other forms of unnatural behavior?”
