alg_tangoThe American Library Association has released this year’s list of the Most Frequently Challenged Books, and again, a children’s book about penguins is at the top, due to wingnut complaints. And Tango Makes Three is the true story of two overzealous anti-Christian homosexual activists in Central Park, who happen to be penguins [likely story], and their predatory [probably atheist, god-hating] desire to shove the homosexual agenda down the throats of our children by raising a penguin baby named Tango.  They named the baby “Tango” because homosexuals recruit through their salacious dance moves.

Or so wingnuts likely believe.  Actually it’s a story about a coupla penguin guys who raise a baby penguin together, and again, it’s a true story.  That’s why wingnuts really hate this one more than Heather Has Two Mommies.  Of course, one of the penguin daddies ran off with a lady penguin, but when Tango grew up, she hooked up with a lady penguin as well, which is proof that gay parents make gay children.  Or something.

This is the crap wingnuts spend their time on, y’all.  If you want to see the whole list of Books Wingnuts Whine About [because really, when it comes to book-banning, it’s mostly a wingnut affair], click through the clicky and read the rest.
